First introduced to the public in 1997 as “King Arthur Catering”, Snappy Snacks mobile catering started in the small town of Hutto, TX. From humble beginnings with one food truck and a 2500 square foot warehouse, Snappy Snacks is now located on a 10-acre complex in Pflugerville, TX just outside of Austin. With a fleet of more than 70 mobile catering vehicles, this unique complex houses the company’s headquarters, a state-of-the-art wash bay, four full-service commissary kitchens, a 2,500 square foot mechanic shop, and a 16,000 square foot warehouse and retail store known as La Placita. You can also enjoy social time with a 7,000-square-foot outdoor music plaza and a food court accommodating up to ten mobile food trucks.

We partnered with Snappy Snacks to provide storefronts and restrooms for La Placita. The pictures below show you our container storefronts and our commercial restroom application. Container City at Spider Mountain is a “fully contained city with modern lodging, RV slips, food, drinks, live music, and bike-in/bike-out access to Spider Mountain.” This incredible community features 6 custom-built container cabins. The Red Roof Retreat is a place to “reconnect with nature” at an “unforgettable escape in Kingsland, TX. Custom built by Bob’s Containers in 2021, the container cottage features a Queen sized day bed, kitchenette, TV, free WiFi, full bathroom, on-demand hot water, multiple outdoor sitting areas, a pavilion with dining area, and fire features. Enjoy a relaxing sunset over the Packsaddle mountains in the seasonal cowboy pool.

Fossil Knob features a group of container homes pitched as  “ultra-modern vacation rentals” built from shipping containers. The Buena Suerte is built from a recycled 40 ft container and has a comfortable living area, dining area, bedroom, and kitchen.

Placed on nearly 9 acres used for horseback riding lessons, guests will get the true Texas experience including cats, dogs, chickens, horses, and a wealth of local wildlife.
