I acquired Bob’s Containers in September 2025 and took over management of the company in March 2026. I’m Mitch Flax, and I own and operate it today.
I build homes and development projects here in Austin, and I’ve been on the client side of enough of them to know what breaks trust on a build: not knowing where things stand, or who answers when something’s wrong. That was the first thing I changed, and it’s the standard I want this company judged on.
Every build now gets a named project manager, a written schedule, and live visibility through Buildertrend. You see milestone photos, schedule changes, and messages as they happen, and we answer every question within one business day.
What hasn’t changed is the design work and the Texas trades who do the fabrication. What has changed is how we handle your money and your timeline: a written contract with defined milestones and payments tied to them, change orders priced in writing before anyone touches anything, and a 5-year structural warranty backed by this company.

How We Build
Bob’s Containers designs and builds turnkey modular structures for residential, commercial, government, and industrial use. Fabrication is done by a vetted network of Texas trade partners, which lets us match each project to the shop best equipped for it and add capacity without the delays a single-facility operation runs into.
Speed is the result. The unit takes shape off-site while you prepare your land, which compresses the schedule against traditional construction. Design, project management, inspection, and delivery are handled by our team.
There’s also a reason we start with containers. Every unit begins as high-grade steel that would otherwise sit idle in a yard. Repurposing it means a faster schedule, a stronger structure, and less new material than conventional construction.
