Bob’s Containers provided a 40 ft shipping container concession stand for ONT Field in Ontario, California, the new home of the Ontario Tower Buzzers, the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. It’s one of our favorite commercial projects to date, and a good example of what a container can do at a busy venue. This model is now available as our 40 ft container concession stand, starting at $67,450.

About ONT Field and the Tower Buzzers
ONT Field opened on April 2, 2026 as a 6,000-seat ballpark in the Ontario Ranch area of Ontario, designed by Populous with an aviation theme tied to nearby Ontario International Airport. The Tower Buzzers, formerly the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, play in the California League, and the name is a nod to the airport and the region’s aviation history. You can read more about the opening from Populous and the team’s inaugural roster announcement.
The Concession Stand
The unit is a 40 ft container finished in a bold blue, with a personnel door, service windows along the long side and two mini-split HVAC units to keep staff comfortable through Southern California summers. It was lifted into place by crane onto a prepared concrete pad, ready for game days.
Why Containers Work for Ballpark Concessions
- Durable: a steel shell holds up to heavy foot traffic, weather and years of use.
- Secure: the unit locks up tight between games and events.
- Flexible: it can be relocated if the site plan changes, unlike a permanent structure.
- Fast to open: the unit arrives finished, so the on-site work is mostly placement and utility hookups.
